How to Download from Pinterest
Three quick guides — Android, iPhone and desktop. No apps, no login, no tricks.
Step 0 — Copy the pin link
Every guide needs the pin's link. Find the video, image or GIF you want, then copy its link:
- Pinterest app: tap the • • • icon (top-right of the pin) → Copy link.
- Pinterest website: open the pin, then copy the address from your browser bar (ends in
/pin/1644321019…/).
Download on Android
- Copy the pin link as shown above.
- Open Pindl in your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox).
- Paste the link in the box and tap Download.
- Tap the file you want — it saves to your Downloads folder automatically.
Download on iPhone / iPad
- Copy the pin link from the Pinterest app or mobile site.
- Open Pindl in Safari.
- Paste the link, tap Download, then tap the file.
- If the video only plays in the browser, tap and hold it and choose Save video / Save image, or use Save link as….
Download on desktop (Windows / Mac)
- Copy the pin's URL from your browser.
- Open Pindl and paste it, then press Download.
- Click a result. If it opens in a new tab instead of saving, right-click → Save link as….
- Find your file in Downloads.
Press Ctrl+J (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+J (Mac) to open your download history.
What does not work
- Private or secret pins — these require a Pinterest login and can't be processed.
- Pins that were deleted or restricted.
- Invitation-only boards and collaborative boards.
